Poem: “Oh Please”, notebooks, Jim Stallings

Oh please

Don’t exaggerate

Just a plodder

With curled horns

Had a hitch

In his getty-up

And snored loud

Standing up—

Say goodbye

And fare thee well

Monsters welcome

To a warmer Hell—

Be you good

Or be you bad.

Bad luck follows

Till you’re dead.
